A bank, a hardware store, a concrete factory, Town Hall, and the police department. All bulldozed. Apparently he felt like he was wronged by the people who worked in those places or owned them.
The SWAT team was called in after that, and their armor-piercing bullets don't do anything to the armor- and concrete-plated monster.
At some point a civilian operator got in a front-loading tractor machine thing [pfft] and then there was a little scene where they played "Chicken". The bulldozer only plowed into the tractor and went on with its path of destruction. Again, the guy targets another building, and the tractor came up behind it and blocked it into the alley the bulldozer created. After the civilian operator jumps out and runs to safety, the police move in. But the guy takes his own life before they can get into the bulldozer.
It's estimated to be well into $7 million in damages, and all for some crazy dude's insanity.
Oh, and then the new Dyson bladeless fan commercial came on. What the hell. No fan blades, just a circle that cycles air through it, no "buffeting". What. The. Hell. It's so weird.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIRD. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? IT'S LIKE A BATSIGNAL, BUT NOT. D:<
Another thing that came on the show was the biggest industrial disaster in America, leaving almost 600 dead, hundreds of buildings destroyed and other casualties. It occurred on April 16th, 1947 in Texas City, Texas. A fire on the French Liberty ship Grandcamp ignited from about 2,300 tons of Ammonium nitrate chemical fertilizer. The fire department came and tried to put out the blaze, but the water didn't do anything to stem the flames. The ammonium nitrate detonates, releasing almost 21,000 tons of energy, similar to effect of the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki. "The Grandcamp disintegrated in a prodigious explosion heard as far as 150 miles distant. A huge mushroom-like cloud billowed more than 2,000 feet into the morning air, the shockwave knocking two light planes flying overhead out of the sky.
The explosion unleashed enough heat and energy to send shards of the ship flying through the crowd, crushing and killing many of the on-lookers. Blast over pressure and heat also disintegrated the bodies of the firefighters and crewmen still on-board the ship.
The freighter tied next to the Grandcamp caught fire too, the Highflyer. No one noticed smoke or flames until almost the next day, and by then the crew managed to get off. The ship was pulled out of the slip, but not far enough before it exploded, causing all kinds of new damage.
The extent of damage ranged to almost a mile away, every house in 1 mile radius was destroyed. It's estimated to be in the hundreds of millions in damages. 581 people died, hundreds more were injured.
That's amazing. Astonishing... I'm in awe. I didn't know anything about this. Shows me how much I can learn from TV.
So that's the first adventure/knowledge learnin' I did today. Maybe I'll post something else...a little more educating and more interesting. Although right now I'm learning about the Gotthard Tunnel and all kinds of things on the Science channel. I like these shows, although I get bored sometimes.
Havoc out.
